We've made it to the last month of this year. December is a huge month for most people. But that doesn't mean it has to be craziness all the time. It's still important to take some time and enjoy your friends and family. As we follow our slower living journey, sometimes it's hard to see that it can be done even when there is a lot to do. That's why we sent our subscribers the Christmas Morning theme. Time is a precious commodity. It's something we will never get back, so make sure you are spending it doing things that are important to you. If you are new to this journey, it may be hard but trust me it gets easier.
So what does a slower Christmas morning look like? If you have littles, of course, presents have to be opened first! Maybe even if they are not so little! But, whether it's before or after, take a little bit of time to slow down and enjoy preparing something simple for your family to enjoy, all while you are donning your festive attire.
It's all about something yummy and easy to prepare, and being festive while you do it! It's so important that we make memories as much as we possibly can. Simply rushing everything will not create the memories that will last you a lifetime. You will remember the slower pace of the morning making doughnuts, wearing your Grinch T-shirt and cute fuzzy socks, and looking at everyone enjoying themselves. Dance around the kitchen, share memories of past Christmases, and make each other laugh. These are the things that count. Let's dive into the contents!
The star of the show is the doughnut kit. It contains all the dry ingredients you need. The additional ingredients you need are apple cider, olive oil, eggs, and butter. These are super easy to make and don't take much time at all. You just mix, pour, bake, and then dip into the cinnamon sugar mixture. All that is left to do is eat them!
We wanted to make this as easy as possible, and most people do not own a doughnut pan. Well, guess what? They do now! The silicone mold makes it easy so you don't have to worry about them sticking to the pan, and they are easy to clean.
