If you are like me and so many others, you think that you will make New Year's resolutions and stick with them. We have good intentions but it rarely works out. Why is that? Typically it's because we say it and forget it. Vision boards are a little different. They can be used for resolutions if you want to, but they are more for your goals. It doesn't matter what they may be. A dream job, dream vacation, health, or even that homestead you want to create. Vision boards put our goals in front of us every day so we can get the right mindset to work to obtain those goals. It's not magic, but you can manifest what you are after with the help of your vision board.
A vision board is a perfect project if you are looking for a slow-living lifestyle. You can create your ideal lifestyle right there on your board for you to work towards. Let's take a peek at what we put in this month's box.
Vision Board Photo Book
In today's world, very few people get magazines anymore which can make it tricky to get images that you need. Printing them from the internet is an option, but not economical if you want a lot of pictures. This book gives you tons of pictures to choose from to get you started and also a wide range of different photos to suit a lot of different tastes.
Quotes and Saying Stickers
Along with pictures we also need some good quotes or sayings that align with what we are trying to manifest on our boards. Here we have a good variety to choose from to get everything just perfect to create your vision board. And of course, if you are very specific about a quote or saying you need on your board, you can create it yourself but we wanted to give everyone a good starting point to get you started.
Washi Tape
You may be wondering what this is. People who scrapbook will know that this is washi tape. It's a decorative type of masking tape that comes in a huge variety of colors and patterns to suit your tastes. It's perfect to attach your pictures depending on the medium you use, or to even add borders to your photos to make them look extra special. We decided to do a vintage floral pattern for this box since it goes so perfectly with the simple living lifestyle. If you don't use it all for your boards, rest assured you will find some great uses for it with craft projects.
Push Pins
Yes, I know. Push pins. It's self-explanatory and kinda boring. But, is it? You can find so many decorative pins out there now. We chose to use wood-topped pins that go nicely with the washi tape patterns. Go all out and make everything look great when creating your board because, after all, this is all about you!
