The month of November is all about giving thanks and being grateful for what we have. In all the chaos of life, how many of you do that? If we are going to be real, November isn't the only time we should do this. We should be doing this all year round. I think way too many people get caught up with thinking everything has to be done and has to be done right now. When was the last time the world exploded because you didn't answer that email right away or you just sat enjoying some tea or coffee and watched the birds, or listened to a podcast and just enjoyed being and that is it. If you are not doing this, I highly recommend it because so much is passing right by you and you are not even seeing it.
So with that said, what is S'moresgiving? This is the theme we chose for our November box. We wanted to combine the month of giving thanks and something everyone loves which is s'mores. The idea around this box is to choose people who are special to you and enjoy some time around the fire together making s'mores, talking, laughing, and enjoying each other's company. Make the time to do things that are meaningful and not just a to-do list, because guess what, that stuff will be there tomorrow and the next day. We can't guarantee we will be there or our loved ones so use what precious time we have on this earth to make it something memorable, something fun, something that makes you feel warm and cozy and peaceful.
Let's talk about what we put together for our subscribers this month to make it a fun experience. Take a look at the box and we can dive in.
Of course, to make s'mores you need roasting sticks right? We have a four-pack of retractable sticks in their own carry pouch to make it super easy to store them when you are not using them.
To add a unique spin to your s'mores we added s'more spice. This one is crème brulee flavor. All you need to do is roll your marshmallows in water or melted butter and then roll them in the spice. This will create a yummy coating when you roast your marshmallows.
We have a couple of things to keep warm, (depending on what part of the country you live in), and first is the Mexican drinking chocolate. This is a bit different than the hot chocolate that we are used to and it's in an easy-to-use powder form. If you are on the east coast like us, it is freezing here so we added a ponytail beanie to help keep you warm as well. I love these types of beanies because you can still wear your ponytail or messy bun which is a huge plus for me.
A couple of other fun things we added was a sheet with gourmet s'mores recipes to try out. Some of these sound fantastic by the way, and a playlist for you and your people to enjoy while roasting and toasting.
We hope our subscribers take in the full experience of this box and every box we send out! We also want to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to everyone out there!
